Its symptoms of semi looper.
first instar scarp the leave then notch the leave from the side of leaves.

Management:

  1. install the bird perches inside the field.
  2. Install pheromone trap @10/acre to captured more number of moths.
  3. Spray novaluron 10% EC@10 ml/15 liters of water if infestation is more.
