It is a leaf eating caterpillar ( Spodoptera litura). polyphagous pest occurs almost all field crops.
Management
- On pigeon pea crop at this stage the larva of caterpillar feeds only leaf but later stage it will feed on economical part called pods.
- Install phermone trap @10/acre to captured caterpillar adult stage (Moth).
- Spray neem oil@30 ml along with profenophos 50% EC @20ml/15 liters of water.
